Running

On Sunday, June 19th, Imo Boddy began her attempt to be the youngest female to run the length of the UK. She departed from the northern tip of Scotland, John O'Groats heading south to the southern tip of England, Lands End. This challenge is often referred to as JOGLE. Her goal is to complete the 850-mile effort in 22 days requiring her to run on average 60km a day. Imo is fundraising for Young Minds, a teenage mental health charity.

Imo is now just over a week into her attempt with two weeks to go. Two days ago she crossed from Scotland into England. A monumental feat in itself.

Crossing into England

No stranger to multi-day challenges, in April of 2021, Imo ran 7 marathons in 7 days. Over the course of the 7 marathons, she had an average finishing time of 3hrs 40mins.
